Well hello there, its been over two months since I last posted here. With minimal things going on and with work being busy, I found it hard to find time to post, plus not much content to really go through. Now that I've locked down some of my travel plans for 2019, I figured I'd share them here.

On February 16, I'll be attending King Louie's Winter Walkthrough at Kentucky Kingdom. For those that don't know, it is their winter behind-the-scenes tour. As of me posting this, it hasn't been officially announced yet I don't believe, but they gave us the date for this and ACE Preservation Con at the GOCC Holiday Party last month.

On February 23, I'll be attending Winter Chill Out at Cedar Point. Always a fun event, the 12:30pm group features such Instagram personalities as myself, coaster_bean, pursuitofthrills, Jantzen73, adrenaline.obsession, cp_guest1870 and cprundown, and a special appearance by everybody's favorite Sandusky-based coaster enthusiast not named coasterguy101.

In late March, I'm hoping to take a trip down to Carowinds, Kings Dominion or both while my spring break occurs (last week in March). That will be dependent on if I get an invite to Copperhead Strike media day once that date is finalized. Since I'm not coaching baseball this year, my spring break is pretty wide open and with those parks opening right around that time, they might get the nod.

In April, I will be attending opening day at Kings Island as well as hopefully media day for Yukon Striker. I'm also planning hopefully to head down to Carowinds Easter weekend, spending Good Friday and maybe that Saturday in the park before heading back home.

In early May, I hope to attend ACE Preservation Con at Camden Park and Kentucky Kingdom. I will probably attend opening day at Cedar Point the following weekend as well. I might try to sneak a trip to Kennywood in at some point if Steel Curtain is open by then. Otherwise, I'll try in June or July.

On May 17-18, I'll be attending my favorite coaster event of the year, Coasterstock at Kings Island. I love the way KI caters to the attendees, always asking us what we'd like to see in future years and trying to accommodate us. The contests and food are always awesome and its really cool to be around some of the great people I've met over the past few years.

On May 28, I will be at Busch Gardens Tampa to pick up the Tigris credit and visit with some friends in the Tampa area that I haven't seen in awhile. May 29-30 will be spent at SeaWorld and/or Universal Studios/IOA.

On June 7, I will be attending Coastermania! at Cedar Point.

Then things start to really pick up:

On June 15, I am flying to Los Angeles (Burbank actually) to attend my very first ACE Coaster Con. I will be spending my first day in LA sightseeing, as well as heading over to the Santa Monica pier. June 16-18 will be spent at Six Flags Magic Mountain. June 19 and part of the day on the June 20 will be spent at Knott's Berry Farm. The other part of the day on June 20 as well as June 21-22 will be spent at Disneyland/California Adventure. June 23 will also be spent at a yet-to-be-determined park (might end up being Universal Studios Hollywood).

Late on June 23, I fly from Burbank up to San Jose. June 24-25 will be spent at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and California's Great America (order TBD). I then fly home on June 26.

In July, probably just after the fourth, I'll be taking a road trip with a friend that will be in from Cali to at least Cedar Point, Kings Island and Kentucky Kingdom. We're also going to include either Indiana Beach/Great America or the Pennsylvania parks, depending on how we decide to play it. If Koaster Kids does another KK at KK day, we'll probably work our trip around that because the last two years, that event has been absolutely awesome.

Additionally, I'm going to try to work day trips in to Canada's Wonderland and Michigan's Adventure (about 5-to-5.5 hours each). I also will definitely spend several days at CP and KI like usual.

I coach middle school football starting in August, so my travel plans at that point will mostly be limited to CP in the evenings and short trips on the weekends.

Busy summer, but I'm definitely excited. As always, plans are tentative and subject to change, but I look forward to seeing everyone out and about at various parks this year.
